Yes that is exactly my fear, also there are many dialects and spelling differances for otherwise mutually intelligeble (audio) words. Even between North, East, and South Baffin which are spoken almost identically, they are spoken rather differant. That is a great point you have brought up. Alltho the initial reason was a combination of two things. One that the majority of the people on here dont speak inuktitut but i didnt want to make it hard for them to navigate the site which they had been able to navigate very easyly before, because we need all the help we can get. for instance it be great if someone could add in [[iu:ᐃᕉᒃ/irak]] and mouse and all the others to the many languages which they link to, because they do not link back. i feel the most important are english and french the other languages of canada, also greenlandic, and also danish since many inuits study at university there and have internet connection, and be good if they can add to any top 10 languages withs top 100,000+plus speakers. of source it would be the great if they could add it too all on the list but thats the priorities i think. also it made it easier for me to navigate since i have a roman letters keyboard but i only use sylcabics when writing, i look up the transliterations on a website to which you can find the link to on the dictionary article. it makes it much easier to navigate that way, and will for many people who dont have keyboard in syllabics which dont exist and since inuktitut is written only in syllabics in nunavut and labrador, and only some use the other way in NWT community i thot this would be good. maybe someday we can have goal of removing them or creating a sticker set to place on keyboard keys and computer software to switch keyboard to work that way.

Yes I agree, I thought it was too much responsability but there needs to be more than just Thogo, since if someones not here lots of damage can happen. I think we must created a semiprotection template urgently, maybe a protection template while were at it too! Maybe you should be one aswell just in case this does happen, you are very helpful, thank you.

Ok thanks, would a year be better? The user only made one edit, they added the word "Fuck" on the main page in very very large letters using some kind of template which also blocked all of the navigation buttons, i had to click on another article and cut and paste main page in comparison to be able to get to the history page it seems to me this person knew what they were doing and they only made one edit. would 1 year be better?
