About me

Hello World. My name is Chris Koerner. (My last name is pronounced Ker-ner). I'm a Community Liaison, which to me means that I get to empower people with technology and encourage those with an inquisitive mind. I’m here to support the communities the foundation works with across the Wikimedia movement.

I've been with the foundation for two years now, and have been a MediaWikian and Wikipedian since 2013. I’m a partner to those underrepresented in our community and work to have better representation of the diverse voices in our projects.

I'm someone who tries to follow the idea of New Sincerity. In short, I'm honest with minimal irony or sarcasm.
