Ah, I found it.

Two points: First, Node is basically right that the dot in the middle of the "ᒫ" is a bit awkward. Better to shorten the upper arm of the "ᒪ" and place the dot above the arm, or fit the dot so that it is in the centre of the character but aligned with the top of the "ᒪ". I prefer the second one, I've seen that done before in Inuktitut. Second, I notice that the wikis for languages that don't use capitalisation don't raise the the first and last characters of "Wikipedia" on their logos. (Examples: hi:, ar:, th:, zh:, ja:) I think Inuktitut fits that model better than forcing a pseudo-capitalisation that is really alien to Canadian syllabics.

To the best of my knowledge, no. I have seen pointed texts where pointed characters were shortened to fit into a single size space, and syllabics bold characters are sometimes visibly larger.
